Dance –a therapy for everyone
People around the world are busy in their life. The lifestyles have been so fast and always moving, that most of us do not find time for ourselves. In some way or the other, we all are occupied or surrounded with light or more stress. We often feel stressed, in anxiety, and need a break from our life. Our body need some relief from the daily hectic schedule. There it comes, "Dance Therapy". A therapy that can be done by anyone, where we use dance to treat our anxiety and stress.
Dance always works as a therapy for everyone. It has its numerous benefits, physical, mental, all sort of benefits. When we dance, our body moves, it works and it become more flexible, and light. It ultimately improves our fitness. This is the reason why Dance is also known to be the best exercise for us. Dance also works as a meditation. When we dance freely, our mind and heart gets engaged into the beats, and then there comes a time when our feets start moving in a particular rhythm themselves. This is how it helps us in loosing our body for the time being and just feel free. Thus it relaxes the whole mind and the body.
Along with Physical and mental benefits, dance also helps us Emotionally. When we dance, we loose our body to it, we just lean into it and feel, feel the music, feel the vibes, this way it do boost our mood also. With good mood, we forget all our anxiety and stress, and our body eventually gets its relax. It helps us expressing the emotions out straight from our heart. And we do not have any suppressed emotions anymore. This way dance act as a therapy in improving our Emotional health.
Dance also brings us together. Most of the times we see people celebrating festivals, events, happiness together and dancing themselves high. People dance in joy and also, they join each other for the same. People organize events like Dandiya nights, etc. to gather large number of people at the same place and enjoy together. And as it is said, that the "Ones who Dance together, stays together". It brings joy. We can say that with numerous or endless benefits, "Dance is a therapy for everyone". Keep Dancing!!
