"Are we all humans?"

"Are we all humans?" Seeing all these inhuman activities going around us, this is the only question that is revolving in my mind.
Some days ago, we came to know about the brutal attack on two Sadhus in Maharashtra, which was even happened in presence of policemen. The sadhus were inhumanly beaten till death. A while ago, even in this week, we heard another such case of Kanpur in which 8 policemen were shot dead.

Another case that is being viral these days is the case of some animal rescuers being brutally attacked by the locals in Rani bagh area of Delhi. This came into a highlight by a Viral video that was shot by the Injured girl Ayesha. Ayesha and her team were the volunteers of the NGO 'Neighbourhood Woof'. They work for the street animals in the locals. The team was there to sterilise the dogs. When they were about to do the last one, some of the locals came and started investigating them in a very harsh and insulting manner. After some time, they start beating the volunteers and their vehicles. The injured team went to the police seeking for help, and the police denied to register their complain.

This lockdown has affected a lot of lives. We can speak about what problems we are facing, and can try to solve them. But, what about the animals? They are also being affected very much, even more than us. They are not getting food. The restaurants are shut, foodtrucks are also parked at home, even the people are not getting out of their homes to feed the animals. Out of this hunger, some of them are attacking the people. Street dogs are not getting proper shelter, etc. Since, they are the voiceless living creatures, these animals cannot say anything. They cannot express their problems.

When people like Ayesha and her team are coming up with the initiatives for the stray animals, the locals of the areas are not allowing them to do so. Even they are treating the helping hands in a very inhuman manner. These Helping hands should be respected as they are understanding the voices of the voiceless animals. But, the reverse is happening. Instead of being thankful to the NGO, the locals of Rani Bagh brutally beaten them.

This inhumanity has been normalised in the country. No strict action is being taken for the justice of these victims. At this time of pandemic, we must unite and help each other in all the ways possible. We should not promote this inhuman behaviour as this is not appreciable at all.
Strict and immediate action should be taken for these incedents. Then only we can answer the Question proudly, that, "Yes, we are humans."
